Thanks!
Just wanted to quickly say thank you to everyone for your kind and helpful comments so far. I am not so much upset with the diagnosis, as I am trying to process finally actually having a diagnosis after so many years. I think I'm still in a bit of shock with it all, but I'll update some more once I catch my breath. I am scheduling an appointment with my naturopathic doctor as soon as I can too! I'll write more soon, but thank you for the support. I knew I could count on you.

Hey there - i just read your post from yesterday and i want to say first of all i am so sorry. I was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve in March 2011 after trying for a year. My RE described it the exact way your wrote it - she actually said "you are 31 but have reproductively you are 42." As hard as it was to receive that news, honestly, i wish i had received it sooner. Good luck with your journey and know that this is not the finish line but a new beginning.
ReplyDeleteThrowing in my two cents, i recommend getting on supplements (DHEA, Coq10) as soon as possible and i'm not sure you are going to continue with IUIs but really with DOR IVF may be a better option since we really dont have the luxury of time and our eggs usually need more help and monitoring. But there are tons of DOR IVF success stories - mine (so far) included.
GL and we are here for you!
HUGS!!! That's what we're here for, right? Sending you good thoughts and some love...here whenever you need me:)
